so i have an icon now

unfortunately i failed to take any pictures of fluffy while he was alive

so this is the sixth result of a google image search for hermit crab

it does look a lot like fluffy though

poem
this one's about typing class

Untitled

now is the time
for all good men
to come to the aid
of the darkness in my heart
i click on the keys
like an infinitesimal monkey
but never in infinity years
can any of the keys unlock my heart
except these

i just participated in my second top five
it was a truly painful experience
but what else is new

i just talked to tearsXforXyou for about half an hour
we were really connecting, but she had to leave to dry her hair
this was just after i started talking about fluffy

she said we can go to a show sometime though

here's another poem written by me
this was written by me after i first saw jurassic park
{another painful experience, but only from two years ago}

Untitled

the thoughts of your amber eyes
far too much to cognize
the fossilized remains
of our love
in your amber hair
like a prehistoric mosquito
i bring life chaos

a drop of water on your hand
a drop of blood on your wrist

my [info]the_top_five acquaintances
{i hesitate to call them friends; they don't seem "emo" enough {for lack of a better word}}
have nonetheless inspired me to start a livejournal

this is interesting i must admit

perhaps this shall serve as a repository for my poetry
for that is what i am

a poet

here is one that has garnered quite a few positive reactions
i have failed once again
'twas not meant to be positive

{it's about my first hermit crab, may he requiescant in pace}

Untitled

the lack of your presence
brings darkness to my heart
why, fluffy
why did you die
take me with you
to the little hole in the backyard next to the tree with the tire swing
the tire a pendulum ticking the moments
without you
fade to black

perhaps i will post a new poem when the inspiration strikes me
or at least what's left of me     ever since you broke my heart

maybe just once i find another poem that i already wrote
